First things first. The map of Yellow Fever, where a certificate is required.

So, technically, i could still go up the East coast and bypass most of Africa. But a lot of these countries i want to visit. But then i saw the places NOT to go in Africa...

East coast could be out. So it's back to the yellow fever jab. Fortunately they speak English over here, so making an appointment and following that MIGHT be a bit easier than it was in South America. I have already checked entry requirements for a few countries. Yellow fever jab being one. The others are visas, which mostly can be done online and do not cost, and a covid test. Some countries do not need proof of vaccine, but a test IS required. Sherpa is great for telling you what documents you need etc.

But first, that jab. I found a list of centres in Cape Town. I don't have to get it here as there is still a lot of Africa to see before i hit that area. But the sooner i get it done, the sooner i can scratch that one off. That takes care of most of tomorrow i guess!

And one more thing. South Africa has a lot of blackouts. Today, there was one at 2pm for two hours, and another at half eight for an hour and a half. Why?

Literally, without warning, boom, the lights go out. Got to get some tunes downloaded on my phone!
