So this is my rough guide. As the crow flies, it's around 11,000 km! That's 2000 short of the diameter of the Earth!! To date, i have been travelling 191 days, and have travelled 13,697 km!!

Time to open Excel again. But last time i did this for USA, it changed after three weeks! There are 54 countries in Africa, and 195 in the world.

The left map are the NO GO COUNTRIES!. As you cans see, Cameroon is the only country that allows me to travel around the no go countries. Unfortunately, as the Covid map on the right shows (dark green open, light green with covid test, and orange no entry) that Cameroon, the orange country, is a no go. All land borders are shut here! So, if i wish to continue into north Africa, i have to fly from Gabon to Nigeria to skip OVER Cameroon. Flights are about £250! But i aint worried about that yet. Why? Because the entry requirements to the other countries seem to be very convoluted and contradictory! These are the entry requirements for Zambia:

Letter to the director-general! Say what! Who is this man? Also, you can pay at the border as opposed to online. So, do in need this letter at the border? Other countries have similar seemingly obscure requirements. More research to do.

Oh, and i got my yellow fever jab. Cost about £40, which i saw is cheaper than that from the NHS.
