Well, that was a cold bloody night. -11c!!

Fortunately the toilet blocks were unlocked so was able to get warmer. Still didn't get much sleep. Plus there were trains running all night. They were HUGE. They took like two minutes to pass. Saw the lights of the cabs, I would say they were forty carriages long! Mental.

The walk was mad too. Mountains on both sides and a river running between down the canyon. The road follows the river. And I followed the road.

Got to Yakima about 10am. load of homeless here (as was in Seattle). Their tents and tarps strew the streetsides.

Am truly shattered. Booked myself into motel. Seems each one I check into, the standards go down each time. It's pretty crappy, but being as he let me have the room straight away rather than three o'clock check in, I'll take it. Looking forward to a good night's sleep. X
