Well, got here. Three and a half hours late, but like i said, didn't bother me what time we got here.

Shattered. Can never sleep in transport, whether it's planes trains or automobiles, so been a long night. And was getting a bit worried as all night all i saw out the window was snow again. When we stopped off at Twin Falls to let someone off i disembarked for a smoke. It was freezing fog, and what looked like a fresh sprinkling of snow. No!! Please no. No more snow.

Thankfully, by the time we neared Ogden and Salt Lake City, the snow was gone.

And breath...

Motel was a twenty minute walk, what with a fully ladened rucksack and having been up for 27 hours, the last thing i wanted was a long haul. So when i booked the motel, i made sure it was near the bus station and certain ammeneties.

Was expecting to turn up at motel, dump my bag off and go for a wander, as check in is not until three. But again, like in Yakima, i was allowed to go straight to my room. I tell you, it's a great feeling to know you haven't got to wait six hours before you get into your room.

The walk to the motel was, weird. Even though it was still cold, the sun was out, and it was a smoggy morning. I noticed all the industrial units as i came in. That, would've made a good photo. Like something out of Bladerunner. And it was quite. At ten in the morning, i saw two people.

Getting horizontal and forty winks.
