Sorry, but its been a bit of a mad few weeks and i have not updated my blog at all! So these next few posts are going to be very short! After leaving the very torn up Puerto Montt...

...i headed back North on the bus to Osorno, which i passed through to get to Montt. After god knows how many more hours i spent on the net for buses to Punta Arenas, i am stuck with the choice of heading into Argentina to a place called Bariloche, and from there, East and onto Buenos Aires. Got to be better than here.

That's the high street!

So, stopped in Osorno for a night due to the bus times. Small house with a lovely young landlady called Pamela. Room was a box, but i was only there for the night. Early start on the bus!

Then the games began. Got to the bus station and went to board the bus. "Travel insurance?" i was asked. Shit!! Forgot about that one. After trying to buy a rush job online and making the bus almost an hour late, the sweet young lady that worked for the bus company office at the station, BOUGHT me the insurance. And covered me for a week! So i was on the bus heading to Argentina, with a promise to myself that i must send flowers to her office!

The first checkpoint for the border was way before the actual border, at a national reserve. And what did i see most of the way here? Snow! God, damn, snow!

The view around was really nice, with mountains and fir trees, but unfortunately not really worth a camera shot by the time i got off the bus. So we disembarked, passports and baggage. Simply, hand over with the affidavit, and we were on our way again.

The next checkpoint was simple again. Except i forgot to take out the piece of paper i was told to keep when i entered Chile, so had to clamber back on the bus to dig it out of my bag, and re-go through customs. Other than that, we were all good and i was officially in Argentina!
