Well, that was awesome. Bus not only late, but driver did not know the way to the viewing tower so next thing we know it's 7pm, dark, and at Nazca town centre. This is turning out to be a shit 'tour'.

We left Huacachina at half three in a taxi to God knows where. Got dropped off and that was it. We just assumed we were waiting for the bus. Half hour later a trove of people start walking out together. I recognized two guys from another bus so had to ask them if this is the bus. Yes was the answer. Great communication between passengers and company. So, got on bus to Nazca. And here I am, waiting for bus to Arequipa. An uneventful day.

Now I have three hours to kill, so found cafe for dinner and a bloody beer!

Bus eventually turned up, so we all got on and headed to Arequipa, about 500 miles away. Arrive about 10 am. Bus was really comfortable, designed for night travels. Recliners that almost went horizontal gave you a nice position. I even got a few hours kip before we arrived.
