Got here at half seven in the morning. Thought it was going to be later as we got caught in a blizzard just past Gallup! Both sides of the road just stopped dead, like they couldn't handle the snow. After about half an hour, we were on our way again. Had a wander around the city for most of the morning: nothing too exciting. The usual homeless wandering aimlessly around the streets. Found a cafe and decided to have a cooked breakfast. My first american diner!

And the first that actually had english breakfast tea!! Fuck my old boots! So had steak, eggs and chips. And as you can imagine, the steak was pretty darned huge.

After that, wandered around a bit more but to be honest, there wasnt much here and i was bored to hell. Discovered a train service that was cheap, and figured it would keep me busy for a few hours.

It went 50 miles southbound, then 150 miles northbound to Santa Fe, before it turned back 100 miles to Albuquerque. And how much was this travel? 11 bucks! Seriously, thats mental! Kept me busy for six hours too. Got back at nine o'clock. Two hour wait and on the way to Amarillo.
