That's it then. End of the first leg. So, mush on to the second leg. This one is a very short leg in comparison. The second place to visit is... Roswell.

Early start tommorow so thought i would start this post off early. Leave here at half one tommorow morning, and get into Albuquerque at half seven in the morning. Then i've got pretty much all day there.

Then onto Amarillo. Yep, here it comes!

and then on to Roswell. I get there about about 2pm, have four hours there, and back to Amarillo at about half eleven in the evening. It' a short sharp sweet leg.

Oh, and a fecking big oh! For me anyway. On the way to Amarillo (i cant even type it without singing the bloody thing - thanks Steve) theres a stop at a place called Tucumcari. Now THIS is one for the hardcore film fans. And it also got me thinking about finding film locations whilst on my travels.

Anyway, back to Tucumcari. As soon as i saw that name i was like, oh my fucking god! Really?! Awesome.

So, 1967, Clint Eastwood in his most famous trilogy. And the man in this scene is the great Lee Van Cleef. Yep, its For a Few Dollars More.

The blue dot on the right near Starbucks is my motel. 1.3 miles away. Ok, so now i have an idea i will begin to follow it up. To be honest, i know its only an hours journey, i just cant be arsed. But its a start. Lets see what Albuquerque has.
